Robert “Rob” McClarty is a respected member of the Freemasonry community, with a long list of accomplishments and accolades. Born and raised in Montana, Rob moved to Kansas in 1991 with his wife, Jana. Despite being empty nesters, the couple enjoys spending time with family, friends, and lodge members. They value community, an active lifestyle, travel, fitness, and fun.

Rob has served as the one hundred fifty-fourth Grand Master of Kansas, as well as the Grand Commander of the Grand Commandry of Knights Templar of Kansas. This was a historic achievement as it was the first time it happened in Kansas history. Rob is an active member and Past Master in his blue lodges, including Lindsborg, McPherson, and Justice. He has also served the Grand Lodge of Kansas as a District and Area Deputy Grand Master.

In addition to his involvement in Freemasonry, Rob has 32 years of law enforcement experience and retired as Chief of Police in McPherson in 2019. Currently, he serves as a Senior Instructor and Class Coordinator at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, is a member of various civic boards, and belongs to several professional organizations.

Rob has an impressive educational background, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Christian College of Kansas, a Mini-Masters in Public Administration from Wichita State University, and a Certified Public Manager from The University of Kansas. He has also graduated from numerous professional training courses, including the prestigious FBI National Academy.

Rob strongly believes in servant leadership and making an impact on those around him through his deeds, words, and actions. He believes that our lives are reflected on a headstone by the dash between our date of birth and death, and we should all make our dash count.
